Shri Satish Kumar joined as Chief Vigilance Officer of MECON on 12th June 2024. He completed B. Tech in Civil Engineering from IIT, Kanpur in year 1996 and done Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from NIT Rourkela in 2023.
Belonging to Indian Railway Services of Engineers (IRSE) 1996 Exam Batch, Sri Satish Kumar has served Indian Railway for last 26 years
Sri Satish Kumar has worked in various administrative and technical capacities in railway system, both in open line and construction organization for
- Planning
- Estimation
- Procurement and
- Economizing cost
- Modernization of Railway Asset like Bridges, Tracks, Building and execution of railway project, Yard remodeling etc.
- Administration
He has been awarded NATIONAL AWARD FOR OUTSTANDING SERVICES in year 2012 by the ministry of railway
He has published three scientific papers in reputed International Journals of ASCE (American society of Civil Engineers) and Springer (UK). He has attended training in advanced Management Program of ICLIF, Malaysia. He has also attended modules on “Leadership, Business Innovation & Scenario Thinking Program” on Customer Strategies at INSEAD, Singapore.
