Transforming Organization…

Andrew Grove said “A corporation is a living organism; it has to continue to shed its skin. Methods have to change. Focus has to change. Values have to change. The sum total of those changes is transformation.” And above all, the rule which applies to the present scenario of business is “Survival of the fittest”. Hence, MECON is changing with the pace of change itself.
We have already diversified our business into Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Power sectors with our core sector still being Metals. Vigorous attempts are being made to achieve excellence in these diversified fields by upgrading ourselves to the recent technologies and business processes.

We, in MECON know that the importance of cultural diversity for survival may be an untested hypothesis in the near future. We practice the policy of “Equal Opportunity for Equal Potential”, which means that any individual who joins MECON from any part or heritage of our country, is first of all a MECONIAN. S/he will be treated equally for every career oportunity as well as in any kind of social interaction within MECON. In fact it is this philosophy which has led people to often reiterate ‘Once a MECONIAN, always a MECONIAN’.
